Mark is an intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on general IP strategy and counseling and patent prosecution in the mechanical and electrical arts.

Mark has written and prosecuted patent applications associated with a wide range of computer and software technologies, including financial services, website layout and information analysis and display. He is experienced with mechanical technologies including printers, industrial instrumentation and controls, and power and hand tools. Mark also has patent prosecution experience with semiconductor technologies like microprocessor architecture, memory devices, wafer processing and testing, and circuit layout, among others.

Prior to attending law school, Mark served on active duty in the U.S. Army, where he designed and conducted tests of military computer and communications equipment for the Army’s Test and Experimentation command.  Following his military service, he worked in engineering and strategic business planning and marketing, including pricing analysis and customer research for a variety of industrial products, software and services.

In his free time, Mark enjoys playing the trumpet for local community productions and holiday events.
